Mazsola came from the Befogad-Lak shelter in Törökszentmiklós. He was attacked by other dogs and he was seriously hurt. His tail had to be amputated and it is worrisome that his rectum was injured as well.

Bullet came into our care at the begining of May and the first information was that he was sprayed in the eyes and his eyes were damaged and went almost blind. Not to mention that the owners didn't take the poor hurting dog to the vet.

Sajó mommy and her new health issues!

Please, keep your fingers crossed for our Sajó momma dog. She was the one who protected her puppies when someone tried to kill them with a pitchfork. Thanks to a neighbor the little family was rescued but now she has health issues that needed immediate surgery!

Bűbáj és Bájos came from a village called Borsodszirák where they were found thrown out and left on the streets to fend for themselves. They are very undernurished and have skin disease so they are practically have no fur. Local animal lovers took them in and asked for our help for them.

2 mommy dogs and 7 puppies all together came to our aniaml home from Füzesabony where the local animal rescue group took them in from a village near by. The black mother dog is called Nigella and the other one with the white coloring is called Anne. They are about 3 years old and they have 7 puppies.

Gurtnika came into our care last summer. She was undernourished, dehydrated, blind and was left behind when the family moved away. After a thorough examination it turned out that she has diabetes.

Brutus and his surgery

Our beautiful big boy Brutus who came to our animal home in Szergény in 2015 from the city pound of Pápa had to have surgery. Unfortunately nobody fell in love with this friendly, sweet and a bit harebrained Rottweiler mix male dog.

On the night of the 14th of April we have found this little family in front of our animal home's main gate. Somebody thought it is the best place to get rid of a mother dog and her 3 puppies.

We have received a call from the volunteer workers of the city pound in Kunhegyes about an elderly dog who has been there for a month and she had diarrhea and was getting worse by the day. Her condition was becoming critical and she became so week she couldn't even stand up only lift her head.

Borzi's examinations and treatments are ongoing.
In the mean time our sweet little old lady is very cooperative, sweet and friendly. We are still waiting for some results but so far it looks like she has a thyroid problem and the quick test came back positive for skin worms.

Duett was ran over by a car!

We gave her the name of Duett and she came from Ózd where she was ran over by a car. The eyewitnesses have said that due to the impact she flew a few meters in the air.

We have received a call from Sajószentpéter about a mother dog and her 4 barely 1 week old puppies. The owner of the dog tried to throw her out the garden and tried to kill the puppies with a pitchfork.

The old boy reacts badly to stress which means he will have a mild a epileptic attack which comes with a cataton behaviour. So every unusual situation, pain, sedation, medical examination comes with extra risks.
