Oli’s life at stake!

We have received a call from an animal rescue team who has saved a dog a couple of years ago from horrible conditions. They have taken care of him all these years but couldn’t find a new owner.

Hanga and his sad eyes

Hanga came to our animal home from the city pound of Hajdúböszörmény and as you can see he is a very very sad dog and we can safely say he is the sadest dog in the world. Look at his eyes and look at his paws as he is trying to hold on to the only fix point in his life that is the ground.

Another group of dogs had their first arsenic treatment!

We are starting to relax because the „second group” that is Csikánó, Kála and Putyin had their first arsenic treatment against heart worms and everything went fine. So now all together six of them have started their 2 months long "jail sentence".

Maláta is not doing better…

Please, keep your fingers crossed for Maláta becuase she is very sick and we are worried about her. This tiny dog who hardly weighs a couple of gramms was found in Nyírmada roaming in the street.

Fantasztkus Faun’s and Szemcsi’s difficult weekend!

It was a difficult weekend for them and it was half success. In Szemcsi’s case the surgery wasn’t successful. Even though that the vet has tried for 2 hours to „fish out” the worms and inserting the catheter 17 times none could be taken out.

Necessary heartworm removal by very dangerous catheter operation is done today again!

Today we are worrying about two of our protegés because today they will have a very dangerous but necessary operation.

Our newest injured protegée Ági

Ági was ran over by a train and she didn’t get any help for days. A social worker who helps the homeless has called us that 13th and the 14th district border the homelss’ dog was ran over by the train and her leg and tail is injured.

A little family found in Hejőpapi

We have received a call on the evening of Easter Saturday evening through faceobook that a small wire-haired dog was thrown out of a car a couple of weeks ago in Hejőpapi and an old lady fed her but the dog disappeared.

Lelkes and his stubborn coughing

Lelkes wasn’t named accidently (in English it means enthusiastic) and he has been having a stubborn reaccuring cough. He had a lot of examination and treatments but eventually the cough always came back.

The MÁV Family and their hardships

We have informed you of the hardships of the MÁV family: the mother dog has babesiosis and she couldn’t nurse her 7 puppies...

We worry about a new family again!

When you think you can take a breather from all the incoming sick animals and then s… hits the fan again and you get an urgent call about a sick mommy dog with her babies and of course we can't say no!

Pikkely. our 4 month old protegé with skin disease!

He is just a baby and he is already very sick. He doesn’t have any fur only imflammed, painful, bleeding „flake” like skin all over his body. Both of his front legs are deformed. One of them is very twisted and if it weren’t enough he is full of ticks, has a fever and babesia.

The Noah’s animal home foundation has expanded and now has a new division.

The Noah’s animal home has been operating more then 25 years on a 8,5 acres land and from now on we have a new shelter in Szergény in Vas county. It can accomodate 100 dogs and it has a seperate quarantene section in Celldömölk which can accomodate 20 dogs.

Pille, on all four feet!
We have a sunny surprise for today with Pille!
The surgery was a success and as you can see she can use all four of her legs.

Koponya, the pug on the operating table

Here is our newest protegé Koponya who was given up by his owner because his hind legs are sick and hurting. Due to financial difficulties the family has been postponing the treatment and basicly even the primary care for him (meaning he is not even vaccinated and he doesn’t even have a chip).
