Serenity's spine is in big trouble. 😢💔
2023.02.23.
4 years ago, skinny as a bone, infected with heartworms, she was taken from a horror farm to the Noah's Animal Shelter Foundation.
Then middle aged German Shepherdess is now a senior. She has put herself back together physically and mentally and has overcome her heartworm infection.💪
A few weeks ago, however, another problem arose with the now almost 10-year-old dog. Her backside started to crumble. The first round of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory treatment had no results, so today she went to see our miracle worker Dr Boda at BodaVet Veterinary Clinic.
The good news is that her hips and knees are fine, but her spine 😢 is sick. So-called Cauda Equina Syndrome is suspected in the X-rays. That is, the last vertebra and the sacral landscape are deformed and compressing the spinal cord.
The possibility of spinal surgery is now hanging over our heads. Now first round of steroid therapy + milgamma course.
Let's hope this will resolve the problem for as long as possible. 🙏🙏🙏
Keep your fingers crossed for this sweet old girl, she is such a beautiful, sweet dog. AND MAY SHE HAVE AN OWNER IS‼️🙏❤️
We would be grateful for your support for this old girl 🙏❤️
