He arrived yesterday from Szarvas to the Noah Animal Shelter Foundation. He is in a very rough condition 😢 He was brought to the Stray and Lost Dogs Foundation in Szarvas between the 2 holidays. According to our information, he had an "owner" and with the help of the police, he was rescued. It was literally a life-saving operation, as in addition to the terrible neglect of his skin - the source of which was most likely a "simple" flea infestation - he was almost starving to death. He was so weakened from prolonged starvation that he couldn't even stand on his feet 😢😡 Thanks to the care of the team in Szarvas, he can now stagger a few steps 🙏🙏🙏
The sad icing on the cake of his condition is that he has a heartworm infection... 💔
We are waiting for his lab results, he started his recovery at the South Pest Veterinary and Surgical Centre.
Deer is a sweet, tail wagging, loving guy ❤️ but it is going to be a long recovery.
