She is the thousand year old little old girl who came to the Noah Animal Shelter Foundation from Illatos út, in a very - very bad condition. 😭
Yesterday, we visited her at Dr. Dalma Péterfia, because during the preliminary examination we suspected heart disease and kidney problems. Heart valve degeneration and consequent backflow of blood was confirmed by ultrasound scan done by the doctor, this will now require regular check-ups.
Also, the kidney test confirmed that one of her kidneys is shrinking and not functioning at all. But another problem has also come to light, In addition to her many other problems, Holle has a nasty case of pus-filled mastitis. 😭 It would have been nice to wait until she was a little better and stronger before doing any rough procedures, but the uterine inflammation can't wait. So she was rushed back to the Délpesti Állatgyógyászati Központ és Sebészeti Centrum Clinic last night and was operated on this morning by our miracle worker Dr Boda.
In the end, her shrunken kidney did not need to be removed, but her mammary tumours were removed by Dr Attila Boda. 🙏 She is currently waking up on a heating pad and we are really - really hoping that everything will be alright. Unfortunately, at her age and especially in her condition, we have a lot to worry about. 🤞🤞🤞
