Another group of dogs had their first arsenic treatment!

We are starting to relax because the „second group” that is Csikánó, Kála and Putyin had their first arsenic treatment against heart worms and everything went fine. So now all together six of them have started their 2 months long jail sentence. Their second treatment will take place in 30 days and it will be even more nerve wrecking because they will get 2 injection. One ont he 30th day and 1 on the 31st day. Hopefully it will be an uneventful 60 days.
Unfortunately we have 5 other dogs whom we will take tomorrow for a heart ultrasound to determine in which stage of the desease are they in. Plus we have one more infected dog who came to our animal home this weekend and it that was already confirmed today that he also has dirofilaria immitis. We have a lot of sick dogs but we already have a couple who have been cured and rehomed. We won’t stop even though it is a dangerous and expensive procedure.
The treatment today had cost about 230.000,-huf (about 800 euros) so in 2 days it was almost 500.000,-huf (about 1600 euros)… so please send positive, healing energy and if you could help us pay for the treatments we would really appreciate it.
