Pille needs our help again!

Pille has not been too lucky lately. Her original owner gave her up and now her new owners gave her back because she became paralyzed suddenly. She is now in our vet’s clinic where she had an emergency operation and she is mad at the world and we are not surprised a bit.

Pille is a dachshund-chivava mix 4 year old little dog whose fault was with the first owner where she lived since she was a puppy, a bunny was brought home and was left alone with her and the family was surprised that a dog with dachshund heritage chased the bunny and of course she had to go immediately.
Her sensitive soul has broken and she didn’t want to communicate with anyone at first. After a while she opened up and we have rehomed her hoping that this time the new owners will love her and keep her as long as she lives. But a phonecall came, we were told that Pille after a false move has become paralyzed and they don’t want to keep her in this condition and of course it was our fault that it happened.
We have brouhgt her immediately to our miracle worker vet Dr. Boda who did some tests in the middle of the night and operated on her. She had a slipped disk and that is why she is paralyzed. Now we have to wait and see if she can stand up again. In these kind of injuries time is extra important meaning that if she is operated within the first 24 hours after the accident then she has the biggest chance to heal entirely.
