Mozaik arrived and she need help!

Mozaik is safe now and in good hands. She is at the clinic, she has fever and her leg is wrecked. The volunteer workers of the Befogad-lak shelter in Törökszentmiklós have asked for our help about a dog who was ran over in Fegyvernek and was just lying on the side of the road because her leg was broken.

They took her to our miracle worker Dr. Boda's clinic where the vet on call Dr. Jandó tended to her first. Her hind leg was fractured and she had an open and deep wound. Her injury was a couple of days old and it was infected. Poor Mozaik had fever and lot of pain. There are bones missing from her leg and it is hard to believe that the bone fragments were once a complete bone.

The easiest way would be to amputate the leg but our miracle worker vet Dr. Boda said that he would first try to put the bone puzzle pieces together and if he says there is a chance that he can do it then we are all for it! First she will get antibiotics for a few days to get rid of the infection and then the operation will take place. Even though she has pain Mozaik is still a very sweet and friendly dog who is fighting for her leg. We love her already.

Mozaik’s road to recovery will be a long and very expensive one so we are asking you to support her so she can have a long and full life!
