We are looking for a foster home or a permanent owner for her.

She is an amazing pure-bred Rottweiler girl. She was rescued by an Animal Rescue Foundation in February 2016. When they arrived to the place where they were called they were totally shocked. Tia was living on a nearly two meters long chain. The bigger problem was that she didn’t have house and she stood in her own urine and faeces. She was very thin and she had two enormous tumors on her chest. Her fur was in a bad condition too, it was covered with mud and urine and she was very thin. Tia’s chain collar cut in her neck and it could only be removed with a cutter. Even though through her ordeal she remained sweet and friendly and her soul seems to be intact as well.
We have tried to feed her up but her tumors are working against us so we made the decision with the vet to have the risky surgery. The operation was very trying for her body and she had to be artificially respirated through the whole procedure but she SURVIVED!

The histology showed a malignant tumor. The point was to remove the two biggest ones. She recovered from the surgery without problems. Some weeks later she became stronger and more beautiful, her hair become shiny and her musculature is even stronger. Her condition is better now, she likes running and jumping and she is very happy now. So we decided with our vet that She could have the second surgery where we removed the smaller tumors and we did the sterilization too. We made an x-ray because we have noticed that sometimes she moves harder on her hind leg. The surgery was a success and she recovered well. We sent the smaller tumors for histology testing as well and we are waiting for the results.
BUT... the spine x-ray showed something strange and very disturbing. We can1t say anything for sure because she needs an MR examinations but it could be another tumor. Since she already had lot of tumors all over her body, this is not a good sign.

In light of these informations we are looking for a new family for her and for them to come for her very quickly. We want her to experience what it feels like to live in a HOME and in a loving FAMILY! For her to know what it feels like to fall a sleep while your owner pets her head or wake up to a smiling family. What it feels like to sleep in a warm and dry bed and feel secure.

So are looking for an Angel who doesn't think about the length of time they could have together but enjoys the now.

Tia gets along well with people and dogs but she doesn't like other species.
