Böhöm 💔 came into our care from the Foundation of Animal Protection in Füzesabony. He was found in a ditch and he couldn't stand up. He was skin and bones. He was immediately taken to the Délpesti Állatgyógyászati Központ és Sebészeti Centrum Clinic. At first sight he was diagnosed with orchiocele and pathological emaciation. 😪 Plus his heartworm quick test came back positive. 😪
Even though Böhöm was very thin he didn't want to eat and he wasn't pooping as well. An ultrasound and an xray was done and the results were shocking. An emergency operation had to be done. It showed on the xray that his colon was extremely dilated but it was more shocking what they found in his colon. His colon didn't function anymore and everything that was inside was stuck. It took the vet hours to remove the things he ate that were not suppose to be eaten by anyone like fruit seeds, a bag, rusty nails, needle and bone pieces. That is why he ended up in this life threatening situation and painful situation. Even our vet Dr. Viki Mag has said that she can't imagine how could he could stay so sweet while being in this much pain. He survived the surgery but his bowel didn't start working yet. He is in the best of hands but he is still in critical condition. Please, keep your fingers crossed for him. 🤞🤞🤞🤞

He behave like he had an owner before and if that is true then he is not suppose to be like this. He is supposed to be loved and cared for.

After he heals we will look for a famil for him where he will be loved for as long as he lives and where he will be treated as a full member.

As soon as he will heal he will be vaccinated, nutered and only then he will be up for adoption.
