After that Tatyana the rat was successfully treated, two other female rats showed the symptoms of breast tumor. Pizsi (Pyjamas), the 2 and a half year-old gray rat lady will not go through the surgery, as her old age is a high risk, and her benign tumor does not really disturb her in her everyday life.

Svetlana, however, must have had to be operated weeks ago, but there was no temporary adopter who could have fostered her 24/7 after the surgery. Luckily, at last we found a temporary adopter for her, and now she can go through the medical treatment. As she is not very young (one and a half year old), we don't want to neuter her as another surgery would be risky. The surgery for removing the tumor will cost ca. 15,000 HUF.
