Figaro was brought to us from the Noe Animal home from Budapest, hoping that the calmer environment would alleviate the catatonic's tail chasing problem.
Previously, he was kept on a short chain, so he developed a compulsive running in circles. He chases his tail and keeps spinning. As a result, he has great difficulty, gaining weight.

At the shelter in Szergény, we started to provide him with daily targeted care and personalised rehabilitation. As he is a ball maniac, he is very easy to motivate and teach. Unfortunately this proved to be not enough, he chewed his tail off to the bone. He was given a temporary bandage and medication, but the excessive damage made amputation inevitable.

Unfortunately, it is not just him who needs major medical intervention, but other dogs living indoors - we will write about this in a separate article.

Our medical costs are skyrocketing mainly due to the large number of horror cases coming in, so we would be very grateful if you could help them and us with your support! 🥰🙏
