"Dear Piroska, Dear Noé!

In August we adopted Pillow from you, who has been part of our family for 4 months:)

I sometimes shared posts of your dogs in hope to find them homes, but I never went too far, because I thought that anyone who wanted to adopt would look around in a shelter, including Pillow, and it never occurred to me that we would be her owners.
After the death of my beloved dog , without any searching , I suddenly remembered the picture of her that I had shared at some point , I showed it to my partner when I got home , and we were on our way to the shelter.

With this little introduction, I wanted to say that it is very useful to share.
We have visited the shelter three times , and 11 year old Pillow was about the only one who didn't greet us with a wagging tail , but that made us even more drawn to her .
The fourth time we visited, she came home with us ,she sat in the car so disciplined and proud , as if she knew she was on her way home :)

At home we had a cat and an iguana waiting for her , we didn't lock anyone out , we could see everyone's reaction at once , and it was almost like a fairy tale , and everything went smoothly , well our cat blew a couple of hisses in greeting , but she kept coming closer and asking questions .

We spent the weekend together, but then we had to go to work. Not to just write the nice and good , I will tell you that the first week we had a little distruction, while we were working, the 4th day, she tried to chew her way into the bedroom, which was locked, while we were working there was the cat and iguana, just in case , the 5th day we had the courage to leave the door open, and since then all problems have gone away . Pillow, true to her name, wanted nothing more than to lie down between the pillows in the bedroom bed. We have kept the name you gave her, sometimes we call her Pilot because he landed us.

It's a great feeling as she licks us week after week , she's been loving the walks, always rushing home happily.
It scares a lot of people when they first meet her, my mother took a step back, but since then, they watch TV together and snuggle up when she's at her house for a few hours on the weekends.

Pillow is an endlessly sweet and calm dog, we are glad we listened to our first instinct.
She has learned two new things , one is staying still , the other is snuggling .

For his age , she is in very good condition , we have played with her at Normafa , on Hajósziget , her favourite place is in Pomaz , a big meadow where no one is near or far , she is really free , she almost tumbles for joy.
We hadn't planned to adopt an older dog , but it was a great decision , and after all these years outside Pillow is house trained :)
