Yesterday, the 17th District Police asked for our immediate help in placing a starving puppy.
They responded to a report 🙏 and the sight of the young dog immediately confirmed the possibility of animal neglect. By his owner's own admission, he was not cared for, not fed, his claws were brutally overgrown, and there was no doubt that his treatment and neglect was life-threatening. 😡😡😡
The pictures don't really convey how skinny the poor thing is. 😪😪😪
He is about 10 months old, labrador mix, lovely doggy. Currently in the infirmary of the Noah's Animal Shelter Foundation, we are feeding him carefully in small portions. Today he also had a full vet check-up.
In the meantime, the police have opened an investigation for animal cruelty, to which we will attach the veterinary documentation.
We thank the neighbour who did not turn his head away. To the 17th District Police who investigated and took action! 🙏🙏🙏
