Minos, again with the butt pictures, again with the rectal problem. 😞 It's almost 1 month since she had her 2nd major surgery (3rd surgery in total) and they fixed her always protruding rectum from the inside again. We were starting to hope that this would work and we could move on to his other problems. But unfortunately it happened again 😞
Since all the previous solutions had failed, there was no other choice but to go for the most radical solution: they cut out the part of the rectum that always comes out first.
In the accident that happened to him, the muscles and ligaments supporting the rectum were probably so badly damaged and the nerve was blocked that our doctors had no other option.
He did well after the surgery, and Dr. Kata Kardos again did her best at the Csipet-Csapat Veterinary Centre 🙏❤️
As this time He had an intestinal incision, He needed to stay for several days in hospital.
Unfortunately, Minos front leg was paralysed in the accident and will have to have it amputated - he had an appointment, but now this problem has overridden the plans. Unfortunately, his head is so covered that he can't see at all because of all the skin, and he needs to have surgery as soon as possible. And on top of that, he is heartworm positive! 😞
So he has already had 4 surgeries and has at least 2 more big surgeries to go... Meanwhile, Minos is one of the sweetest, kindest chau chau ever to come into the care of NOÉ chau breed rescue. We love him constantly smiling face and his non-stop tail wagging. 🥰
