This morning we received an extra SOS request for help from the Befogad-lak Animal Welfare Foundation in Törökszentmiklós for a beautiful 8-week-old baby who had an anal prolapse. Sorry for the naturalistic photo...
We didn't think too much about it, because with a problem like this, literally every hour counts. Her life, her future, could depend on quick help. She arrived in Budapest in a hurry, immediately to the South Pest Veterinary and Surgical Centre where she was examined. On the one hand, they are reattaching and fixing the previous intestinal segment, and on the other hand, it is important to find out why this happened to her.
Her name is now Twerk and we hope that soon it will be because of she wags her tail so hard and not because of her illness. She is so beautiful with her different eyes and her sweet, charming face. She has to make it, she has to have a very, very happy LIFE!
Hospital, scans, tests, surgery will not be cheap but we will do everything in our power to give her a better future.
