The Pápai Humán Állatvédő Association in Pápa has for our help. A young female dog was attacked by another dog. Her owners didn't take her to the vet for treatment. They just let her wounds get infected and due to the heat it started to rot. By the time she was given over she had a high fever and was in critical condition.
She was brought to our division in Szergény and we immediately to her to our vet Dr Gábor Németh. She was in a lot of pain so she was sedated so the dead cells could be removed. Half of her thigh muscle has died off an it needed to be removed. The bandages need to be changed daily, the wounds need to be cleaned daily. She needs to take antibiotics and painkillers.
We are fighting for her life! We gave her the name Fondü and we will do everything in her power to help her heal.
