Update on Dragon!

Dragon was found in Törökszentmiklós and was rescued by the Befoad-Lak Foundation. He was almost hairless. He didn't have a chip in him and his former owner didn't look for him.

The name Dragon🐶 was choosen by his rescuers. He is about 4 years old and as soon as he arrived to us we took him to the Délpesti Állatgyógyászati Sebészeti Centrum Clinic.

His general condition was poor. He had lots of fleas and ticks. His ears were inflammed, his skin was full of wounds. His examination and treatment has started right away. First he was dewormed, received a spot on, his ears were cleaned and treated. His heart worm quick test came back positive.😞

Because of the fleas he has flea eczema and because of that he has demodicosis because his immunesystem is very weak. So he has to take antibiotics, immune strengtheners and he has to take baths a few times a week with a special medicinal shampoo.

Thanks to the treatment his hair grew back in matter of weeks as you can see it on the picture. He is doing so well that we could start his vaccination program 🙏💕 That is where we are at and we are hoping nothing else comes up.
