Our newest protegé is Köntös and she is not doing well.
She was found near Isaszeg and she was just lying on the ground in the ice cold weather and she couldn't stand up. Thanks to animal lovers who found her she was able to get the help that she needed. We took her to the Délpesti Állatgyógyászati Központ és Sebészeti Centrumba Clinic and our fears were confirmed. The first xray has showed that there is something blocking half of her throat which already punctered her throat and the tissue has started to die away. An ulcer has started to form on the outside of her neck. Most likely she wasn't able to eat or drink for days and she start grow cold. Her temperature was only 33°C. Her condition is life threathening.
She is getting infusion and heat. Due to the situation our medical team is trying to get her condition stabilized so an endoscopic examination could be done in the evening. In her condition this procedure is dangerous but it is necessary. Please, keep your fingers crossed for her.
