Our hairy little Pertli

We have received a call for help on the weekend. A dog in Rudabánya was wondering around for a while with a hay wire or a metal chain around his neck which must have been there for a while because it was grown into his neck. By the time he was caught the wire/chain was not in his neck but the damage was already done to it. The wound on his neck was infected so bad that pus was flowing out of it and it had a rotten flesh smell as well. With the cold weather our options are less because we can only place an injured animal in a closed inner heated kennel where one can recuperate. We are always full and we had to move things around to make space for him.
So when he arrived we gave him the name Pertli and we took him to the Délpest Állatgyógyászati Központ és Sebészeti Centrum where his treatment was started right away. It turns out he is a lovely, sweet, funny fellow who loves everyone. The bandage on his neck has to be changed everyday.
We would like to thank Andi Balázs that again she helped us out so quickly.
