Great news from Bullet!

Bullet came into our care at the begining of May and the first information was that he was sprayed in the eyes and his eyes were damaged and went almost blind. Not to mention that the owners didn't take the poor hurting dog to the vet. As soon as we found out about him we took him to the vet. The specialist said that it looks like that his eye injuries didn't come from an outside force. He has dry eyes syndrome and it was not treated. His luck in this unfortunate situation is that an animal lover who lived near by noticed his condition and now he is in safety with us and he can get the necessary treatment that he needs. Also he had babesia which he needed treatment for.
We have great news!! Thanks to Dr. Zselyke Szentpéteri eye specialist and to Dr. Gabriella Rózsa Bullet can SEE again! Dr. Rózsa has operated on his eyes and made his palpebral fissure smaller so his eyes are more protected. He will still need to be given eyedrops daily and be taken for examinations on a regular basis but he is alive and can see now!

All he needs now is a great family who will love him for as long as he lives. Someone who will treat him as a family member, who he can trust. Bullet is a great dog. He likes everyone and gets along with everyone great. We have won the war against his health issues but it was expensive and he needs medication on a daily basis.
