Oli’s life at stake!

We have received a call from an animal rescue team who has saved a dog a couple of years ago from horrible conditions. They have taken care of him all these years but couldn’t find a new owner. Now Oli is very sick. He has a tumor behind his penis in his abdominal cavity. Unfortunately it is growing very fast and it broke out and is leaking fluid on one side. On the other side a drain pipe was inserted for the leakage. His only chance is a radical surgery where the tumor and the surroundings including his penis will be cut out. The urethra has to be reconstructed in order for him to pee in some way. Medically it can be done but the results of the biopsy came back and it is malignant. Now our vets will consult with the oncologist and a specialist in order to discuss the option and if he has any chance of recovery and what are the chances of reaccurance. We are waiting for their decision now and we are keeping our fingers crossed for him because look at him. Even though he has pain he is still this jolly dog who loves every person every dog. He likes to cuddle and give kisses. He is perfect dog who got the short end of the stick.
