Stex needed SOS spine operation!
2015.11.04.
Stex needed an urgent spine operation, we would like to ask you to pull for this perfect dog!
You already know this beauty, he is the dog, who had jumped out from the second floor, but survived. With this hasty action, he used up 4 lives at once, hopefully form a lot. He was set free from the Illatos Steet and jumped out form the second floor. A vertebra fracture came after a life-saving liver operation, then euthanasia was the next. We don’t how many lives he has, but we hope still many-many, because now he has to fight again against his fate. Those who don’t know much about his history, can take a look HERE!!!!!!
So Stex jumped out from the second floor and his sacrum vertebra injured. Then it seemed, that on a modest way, it could be healed by resting, antiphlogistic pills and physiotherapy. His rehabilitation has last for months. In the first period everything went according to plan. Stex was much better, he could move well, and his urine emptying issues started to get better. What is more his pain decreased day by day. But the condition of Stex has started to deteriorate by leaps and bounds. His urine emptying issues have started again, moreover there was stool emptying issues as well, his movement was getting worse, but the biggest problem was caused by his unappeasable pain. Watching and hearing his suffer drove us to despair. the healing, that had been going to the right way, dissolved into thin air.
There was no other choice, CsodaBoda doctor has immediately intervened, spine marking and spine operation. We really wanted to avoid this, but we did not have other opportunity. It turned out when opening his body, that unexpected connective tissue coalescences have formed during the healing, and a relatively big, freestanding bone part was in the concerned area. We are over the first intervention, in the course of this Dr. Attila Boda tried to ‘ tidy up’. We still need to wait for the result of the surgery, we hope the best.
Unfortunately the use of an implant might not be ruled out in the future. This would be a more complicate and risky intervention. but do not run forward that much.
Now we need to focus on Stex to be better. We love him, because he is a cooperative, kind, wonderful dog. He is a big fighter, it is not mere coincidence that he has reached this far. He could easily wake up from the surgery, and is over the critical first night. He could eat, drink and stand up!!! Moreover, his urine and stool empty voluntarily. He still has such a big pain, but it is natural after this huge and difficult operation. He is in a hospital, the South Pest Banian Hospital Centre is taking care of him.
Please pull for Stex and we ask you to support his surgery, treatment and rehabilitation.
