He will certainly have a normal name soon but now; first of all we need to concentrate on his survival. Lambkin was born last night (11.02.2014), and only one thing is sure that that certain stork dropped him at the wrong place.
There is a farm in Budapest that has been in our focus for a while now; where the sheep are living under appalling circumstances. A private animal protector asked for our help as he has been striving for them for a year now. The official proceedings are ongoing, the authorities are aware of the situation, they have visited the place several times. However the mills of bureaucracy grind slowly but hopefully more surely and we can finally settle this issue within a few days' time and all the sheep will be free. We will be waiting for them with a warm welcome. This little creature could not wait until the situtation is sorted out and arrived to this world.
His skin and bone mother cannot feed him, and as several animals are packed like sardines at a small place in bad circumstances the ram constantly insulted the newborn baby, and his mother did not nurse him. Poor little being probably could not even start to suckle. We managed to save him and now he is with us at the Noé Animal Shelter. We keep him warm and feed him, but he is very very weak and his life is hanging by a hair. Please keep your fingers crossed for him!
Kristóf the cat is babysitting him so he is at least not alone.
