This week’s article starts with a surprising fact: we are omitting the “new dogs” column. It can be either positive or negative. It’s positive because we have a lack of space for new ones. And negative because last week the Dog Stop was advertised. This condition is going to be long, because new hosts are keeping off nowadays. I understand this, because we usually miss autumn before winter. But is it a real problem in giving a chance for our protégées for a better life? It’s a pity…
Here are some lucky ones who can spend the chilly “autumn” nights with a family.

Life with our horses is busy but it’s not a bed of roses. Every member of the stud had an infectious purulent conjunctivitis (thanks for the flies). But now they are healthy again. Unfortunately it has turned up again by Vipera and it seems to be stubborn. We were trying out the third type of eye-drops which seems to be good now.
Our pony, Menthol, is feeling well after the castration. He has reconciled after treacherously depriving him from his “crown jewels”. They are getting better with Tesco. Their relationship made a huge way until now. This relationship is so unclouded now that they can graze together but in a respectable distance. They spend the evenings separately because Tesco wants to kick everybody if he feels somebody around himself. We hope he forgets it soon … or not.
Debi and Carmen are getting familiar with the big stud. But they are unsuccessful. For Carmen other horses are dreadful and because of this she is chased by the others. Next week we are going to try out another method.
This week a truck rolled is with the package you can see on our picture. We got this donation from KÖZGÉP Zrt. With their help we can soon start building some new kennels and repair the old ones. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
It seems that this year Santa Claus has visited our colleague, Piroska, earlier. Earlier we wrote about her swivel chair which went wrong. A few days later the doorbell rang and a courier gave us a fancy, new swivel chair. (Fortunately Piros wasn’t in the office that time). We could smuggle the new mauve chair in and took the old blue out. Later we called Piros to come in. She has noticed the changes immediately. She was really happy that day. Thanks for the donator! The dog factory in Etyek: by this side of the barrier, after the adventures… money is still great In Etyek not just the film making factory but a dog factory works as well. We went there with many other associations connected with animal rights. We got a call that there is a so called breeding farm where more than 100 animal “live” in small cages and they are exploited. After the official visit it turned out that not everything is in order, but it happened nothing…
This week many group of children visited us. They are usually full of experience because most of them return with their family soon.
We took part in the Plant and Pet Fair in PeCsa with our happy team as usually.
