I confess I was a little bit disturbed with the last months events. So much thing happened in the last few weeks. We’re over a charity concert, an occasion of World Animal Day parade and commemoration, we have a new horse, Azil our fox and Bibi our lamb are real celebrities, but let's just check step by step what happened.

We have a new horse, thanks to a lucky car accident, he now has food and is in safety. .
One weekday evening, we received a call about a horse, who was hit by a car in the XX district. A car had not stopped at the corner where it should have and hit the horse carriage. The horse was hurt, his owner decided to get him to the slaughterhouse, but the police had insisted to call a vet, a great thanks to them.
Zsáner is very very lucky, but really, because the wounds heal quickly, and someone fell in love with him in the hospital. We do not give horses to adoption but with a temporary contract, with regular controles, we love to see them happy. Thus, from the hospital he directly moved to his new home.
Zsánér was scanning his new home (I suppose that of course he was looking for food). When he got out of the car, suddenly 15 horses appeared around him, looking at their small sized new friend. Of course, Zsáner wasn’t embarassed, he salute everybody (especially girls), and insisted that he come in peace. As if he could do anything else with his small size, in front of 15 tall animals.
We have seen that he likes the new home and the first and surest sign of this was to see him rolling in the grass (which I think was not possible in his earlier life). Actually he is separated from others but in few days his training will start.
We also have receiver unwanted gift packs, but people show improvements: 1. they put a towel under the pack in order to not to scratch the car 2. they put it on the top of a car, to protect it. Well, what to say, our smile is not realy sincere.
That wast the content of the box this time , but it usually varies.
After many and exciting preparations and with the help of many many people, we are through our 3rd charity concert. It has been very successful. Nearly 1,000 visitors, 20 cat adoption, lots of smiles, laughter and fun. Tanks to everyone who helped in the preparations, and to those who animated it with passion and love, and visitors who helped us with donations. Some images are fantastic party:

Everybody associates the words "benefit concert" with someone in need, someone who needs the help of lots of people to continue, or even to survive. The Noah's Animal Shelter staff and residents confute these negative views, when they had a great time last week for a good cause of course.
As a big animal-lover, I’ve been a little fearful about this event, at the Noah Animal Shelter Foundation in the seventeenth district. On the one hand I was happy to help them with a little donation (called here entrants) and can help animals in need, on the other hand I was afraid about seeing those homeless , suffering animals. 10 minutes after my arrival all negative emotions disappeared, through the gate there was a new world.
Inside this institution all barriers disappeared. Instead of small, narrow cages you have free, happy, independent animals living there. Dogs, llamas, deer, roosters, turkeys and geese, living their everyday lives in a common garden, apparently happily, contentedly. A fox playing with a puppy is a sight which touches even the most emotionless people.
Our Horse Rescue project is continuously working, not only by saving but also organizing regularly cleanings, walks. I am pleased to say that there is a very good team around our horses. And as they are the "horse ambulance" girls, they would like to show it to the world, as sign of belonging together; we have created the NOAH's newest T-shirt.

It’s almost customary that Azil is invited at different appearances, but now the RTL Klub television wanted to call for more of our protegees. The reality show ValoVilag 5 was looking for mascot. They decided who will be the mascot with a little competition The contestants: Bibi the chicken

Gumo our injured leg puppy is growing nicely. He is waiting for the amputation of his leg, but until then, he is looking for the perfect home.
October the 4th is the World Animal Day, a march is organized every year by the Hungarian Animal Protection Association and Friends of Nature. The parade of the NOE Animal Shelter Foundation has traditionally involved a high number. This year, the tragedy of National Gallop evokes a new idea related to the parade. Arriving to The Heroes' Square, the NOE Animal Shelter Foundation held the initiative of Commemoration for the victims of human greed, and financial gain. Scene of death of the horse at the National Gallop. About the poor dogs who are killed for fun and for million forints on dog fights. About all of these fur animals who were living in small cages their entire lives and die in cruelty in order to be presented at fashion shows. About animals dying in laboratories of Pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies. About all those millions of animals who live in appalling conditions, reproducing, travelling hundreds of miles packed on a truck. Fulfilling their destiny on someone's plate. Generating large profits with little effort.
And all of those victims, who live they entire lives in inhuman conditions and die, in order that people can ejoy their self or to get more money. A memorial candle lit in memory of the victims. So do please bring a candle.

When we arrive, the first I can see is that there is a very lot of people, lot of them from the Noe Shelter.
The BottyányEquus volunteers are here as well. They arrived with a horse for the memory of the victims of National Gallop, who lose their lefe in terrible circumstances, because of human negligence.
The Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden is also here with an Aplaca and a donkey,
Marched with us the volunteers of Zöldmenedek Foundation,
And many, many leaders of different organizations, and also were present people of the organizer Hungarian Animal Protection Association of Friends of Nature.
We find our own little company, and wait. The assembly was at 10, but because of circulation, some people late. For example, the groupe coming with the Noah’s animals is not here yet. While waiting, I noticed a familiar face. Kumisz. Kumisz was found in Koró street a few months ago and was a quite problematic dog. He accepted a very few people, for example Niki, Julia and me. Well so Kumisz notice them, the two of them, he is very happy, then jump and jump, and then .. nothing. He didn’t noticed me. But a half-hour later he did it, and I also get the usual jumping ceremony.
Then arrives the NOAH`s cars with dogs, Bibi, who will walk with Kinga,
and also Azil who of course will be with Zoli.
The youth is looking for comfortable seats at the beginning, during the pre-departure. T-shirts, scarves distributions, interviews and more ...
We listen to the opening speech and then we start slowly.
While the walk started, and I fight with Zoé who wants to go faster, I remember why we're here. To commemorate the victims. I remember Pearl, who was left by his "master", because the tumor was the size that he could no longer guard the portal, and he could not really stand up due to great pains.
Bonifac, who also became without interest after becomming completely blind.
Jávor, who was helplessly thrown out.
The companion of my own dog who was thrown out, and I unfortunately could not save.
But I come back to earth when I almost fall because of Zoe who insisted on walking near Meggyes her “mother”. Then I sacrificed myself and gave Zoe to Niki who was without a dog. About an hour after, we arrive at the Heroes' Square. The horse was leaded forward and Kinga begin the commemoration. Meanwhile, some people is already looking for candles, and placed them on the square. I do not know if it's planed to commemorate here at the Heroes' Square, but I considered it is. Who, are the real heroes if not this animals, who are now remembered. The horse, who is continued the race with the internal organs hanging out. A dog who faithfully serve his master, and quietly tolerate the pain he causes to him. The cat, who was exposed to the gate of the shelter, and forced to watch as the dogs kill her kittens. A baby fox who probably assisted to the destruction of the entire family. Who are the real heroes if not them?
The candles are lit, everyone is reconsidering things, and then completed by the traditional family photo.
For the occasion of Animals World Day a lot of school, school group visit us and call us to many places. In this days we daily visited 2-3 institutions. One of our mane character of these visits is Snow Prince, a blind boxer, who loves the touch and kindness, and because of his silky hair he is children's favorite. Among others, the Fairy Tale House School:

The public field supervisors of Maglod ask for help for a dog and a cat who were dropped in a gas pipe maintenance pit. Lajtorja (the dog's name) and Kutacska are very lucky that someone have accidentally heard they cry. If not, then the two unfortunate animals would have died by starvation.
Linda, the baboon lady called up to the help of our volunteers. The iron structure of her beautiful, new home had to be painted. Many people had come to help, so is a good mood the work was fruitfull.
The Mini Shelter department's volunteers prepared a little video to show how good is to be volunteer!
Unfortunately, we do not have a dog log without bad news, but this time it is an especially painful one. A terrible tragedy shook the Shelter. Bocko died suddenly. God, it is even impossible to describe it. We do not know what happened, he was found dead in the morning. We've sent it to an autopsy to find out what caused the sudden death, although, unfortunately it does not bring back our spotted-back friend. Be happy our little rendeer over the rainbow bridge, run high in the green fields and play with your friends. We will never forget you!
By the initiative of our supporters, since a few months charity actions are running, where lots of valuable, high quality nice objects found new owners already, thus supporting our Foundation. In this context, now a whole new craft group has been created, Hundred Hands - One Heart.
The Hundred Hand - One Heart Supporting Craft Club was created in order to show that such concepts as compassion, solidarity, awareness, responsibility, still exist in this twisted, money centered world. Month after month, we give sens to these words, when we sell at auctions the works of members of this Craft Club and all income goes to our Fondation. We believe that the intention to help, is only a question of attention and collaboration. The rescue of thousands discarded, abused animal, physical and mental rehabilitation and successful adoptions prove that there is no hopeless, no chance situation, there is only indifference, irresponsibility, lack of humanity, social insensitivity. If you think this is unacceptable, join the Craft Supporting Club, give hope to the hopeless.

Our partner community, the Noah for Life Community is appealing for the supporters and sympathizers of the Shelter
The Noah for Life Community was founded in autumn 2009, and created its own little community with the aim to make – in Hungary so little known, but so beautiful and uplifting message - which could be a kind of response for the more and more urgent environmental, and energy problems- get knonwn by more people.
There are helping those in need, particularly in natural or other disasters. Cooperating in many cases with our Foundation, as for the flood victims, but even at the red mud disaster.
The non-violence view is an important principle for our Shelter!
We ask everyone who share our point of view non-violence, to help the Community, by indicating the name of NOAH for Life Community in the questionnaire of the Census.
The Community expects the approximately 10,000 community members, who in 2010. Annual Income Tax 1% of the community offered.
On October 4 World Animal Day is not only celebrate, but exactly one year ago on this day came over Hungary in the red mud. Yes, I do not accidentally Hungary since the tragedy, if not in physical reality, but wade across the country, to people, animals, life, heart and soul.
This year, October the 4th is a strange three-marked day: it’s the one-year anniversary of the tragedy, the World Animal Day and the National Assembly began the discussion about the modifications of Animal Protection. In this strange situation was created our article to commemorate the disaster and our tumultuous feelings.
