If you have questions about Nita, please send an e-mail to !
A large, fearful kangal mix bitch arrived with the help of the Dius Cumizdája Puppy Rescue Foundation.
Nita was born in 2018 and her puppyhood did not start very well. Another dog bit her neck causing permanent coordination problems. She has difficulty walking upright Unfortunately she is also heartworm positive and is currently undergoing treatment. This disease can be treated with medication. Gaining trust requires a lot of patience and love.
She is afraid of people, especially men, but she will cuddle up to anyone who will gain her trust. She loves her belly, so the reward can be used to get close to her. Now that she has been taken out for a walk you can hardly get out of the gate because she wants to come out with her partner. She is picky with dogs, some she wants to eat, others she doesn't even bother to eat. She walks nicely in her own way. Sometimes she manages to go quite a long way in a straight line. She's afraid of trucks. She gets excited when shelter dogs bark. For now, what is certain is that Nita needs patience and lots of exercise. First and foremost, she needs a calm environment in which to continue her behavioural rehabilitation. We know she is a difficult case, but we hope there will be an angel who will want to help Nita and adopt her as a family member.
We recommend her as an only dog and we welcome applications from owners with dog experience of the breed. If you are interested in adopting her, you will need to come out to meet her several times.
Nita is vaccinated, chipped, spayed and after heartworm treatment, she can be adopted as a family member.
To inquire about her and to book an appointment, call 06 30 221 1299, Monday to Saturday between 10 am and 3 pm, or visit info@noeallatotthon.hu.
