Avatar is a giant Caucasian Sheepdog born on 05.02.2024. We know this because he has a chip and his finder has found out about his sad, troubled past.

Avatar was bought at 8 months old and was still in the seller's name, then the name of the buyer (former owner) was found out, who said they were away for a few days and a family member was looking after him. The other phone calls will not be described as the dog is on his own. Luckily our shelter had space available and we were able to take him in.


Avatar had been doused with blue paint, or had simply fallen into a paint bucket or bucket of some kind, we don't know... but the paint was still brightly coloured. He is currently in quarantine and we hope he will soon regain his original white with brown spots.


This young, beautifully built "little boy" charmed everyone at first with his calm disposition. He took the scan at the shelter on arrival, and the barking around him didn't phase him at al.

We recommend him to a family with breed knowledge and dog experience, allowing enough time for him to settle into his new family. He can't be adopted as just a garden dog, and can only be adopted as a family member.


Avatar is vaccinated, chipped and neutered before adoption.
