The shy little mum and her 3 fearless little girls came into our care with the help of the Füzesabony Animal Welfare Foundation. Living in an abandoned ruined shed, mummy and the puppies have never been touched by human hands... their socialisation is tough, but with patience and love they have already overcome a big hurdle. The human hand is no longer the enemy, but has been transformed into a feeling of reassurance.


Our Üreg mum is a dachshund-like girl born around 2022, who has not been given any love or care by anyone. Thankfully, the fear has now subsided and she has sort of opened up. She still has a lot to learn and we would really like her future family to give her enough time to settle in, to show her with patience and love what life is like as a real owner dog, where she can participate in the family activities and be part of the family. She tested positive for heartworm and will soon undergo a cardiac echocardiogram to determine the extent of the infection and course of treatment.
