On 14 July, we received a frantic call that a small dog had been found in the bin of a Celldömölk resident in the early hours of the morning. We immediately rushed to her aid, shocked to see a puppy of about 8 weeks old fighting for her life. It is shocking to think that if she had not been found then, he would have been boiled alive in the heat for a few hours. We tried to relieve her flea infested tiny body with an immediate bath, which didn't really work. Her lethargy warranted the help of the vet on duty. She had already developed mild anaemia from the many fleas and was diagnosed with enteritis. She had been defecating worms for days, but thanks to quick medical help and our carers, she recovered quickly and we managed to coax out a real naughty, playful puppy.
We are looking for the ideal family for her, who are aware of the difficulties and potential losses involved in raising a puppy. Tiffy is expected to be a medium to large sized dog, puppy mill or doggy daycare is strongly recommended.

Her vaccination programme has commenced, it is the responsibility of the prospective owner to complete this and to spay and neuter her, which will be strictly supervised.
