Günther's story is quite complicated, our volunteers met the owner of a car with Viennese plates on the shelter access road, who was driving alongside the car on a leash. The lady told the girls that this dog won't leave them alone, he follows them everywhere and she doesn't know what to do with him. One of our volunteers went back to the shelter to read a chip, while the Austrian lady jumped in the car and ran off. Much to our surprise, the chip reader beeped, but unfortunately we could only read one unregistered Serbian chip. After that it became clear that this beautiful dog was being dumped in the immediate vicinity of our shelter. Günther was in mourning for days, not communicating with his environment, not eating. We got close to his soul through targeted therapy, and he became an extremely affectionate and cooperative dog in a short time. He almost cries for us when he sees us, demanding affection. We are looking for a family for whom he will be of real value, a full-fledged member of the family, never again to fear being thrown away like garbage! His relationship with dogs is not an easy one, so he prefers to move on his own.
