Kongó had a bleeding, ulcerated, infected tumour around the rectum. Elderly, black male dog, came from Csepel. He was immediately taken to the Csipet-Csapat Veterinary Centre, where he has fortunately undergone surgery to remove the tumour and is now in good health enough to recover in the NOÉ hospital ward.

He was someone's dog, someone's companion who got him into this condition, someone who let him suffer.
We have no exact information, he was brought from a deserted area, neighbours asked for help for him. Unfortunately, he is not only recovering from surgery for the tumour, but also from heartworm disease, as he tested positive.


We would really like Kongo not to have our shelter as his last "home", but to experience what life is like for an elderly dog in a loving, caring family.
