Sisak came from Ózd. She was found in an abandoned property, locked in a shed. Someone had sentenced her to a slow, painful death by torture. Her head was swollen up by the cord cutting into her neck. And she's so skinny her bones rattle. Naturally, she was immediately taken to hospital, to the Csipet-Csapat Veterinary Centre. The call for help came through the Supporters for Animals Foundation, and Sisak was rescued by the Ózd city pound.
Sisak's condition is shocking, but the good news is that the oedema on her head has now receded nicely, thanks to the removal of the troublesome string at the city pound in Ózd.
Unfortunately, that is the only good news about her at the moment. The string had caused such a deep wound that her trachea was showing. Fortunately, it does not appear to have been injured. Most of the edema has receded, thank goodness. However, in addition to the horrific wound, the skin, which had thickened and was shrinking due to the natural process of healing, had settled in several places and caused circulatory problems again. Because of this, the little girl underwent a flap to loosen these and fuse the edges of the wounds. And, once she was asleep, she was neutered.
We hope that this surgery will be a final solution, but her recovery will require a lot of attention.She will now have to spend several days in hospital again.



Anyway, she is a gorgeous, sweet, lovely girl born around April 2022, who almost certainly had puppies... We have to say that this much-suffered little girl is one of the sweetest, kindest, most perfect dogs we have ever had. Someone please fall in love with her immediately so she can spend as little time in a shelter as possible and get a couch under her bottom as soon as possible. Because he really deserves it!
