He came into our care first on 2023.12.02.

Background:
Zserbó Flódni and her family came into our care thanks to the Kisvárda shelter. They were found dumped next to the funeral home in Lövőpetri with their siblings.

Flódni had already been adopted for a year, but we received a request from his adopter, who cannot keep him for family reasons.

We also received a short description from his owner:
She is very family-oriented and loves everyone in the family. He loves dogs and cats equally and currently lives with a kitten. He is jealous of his toys and food, but NOT towards people. He currently weighs about 25kg.
He doesn't pull on a leash unless he knows they are going to play fetch. They started dog school with him but unfortunately they couldn't finish it (due to lack of time).
He loves everyone very much but guards his territory, but when facing strangers he will go on command from his owner and get to know the stranger.
He knows basic commands such as: sit, lie down, stay,
In addition, he knows puff (playing dead), come closer (he stands close to the right leg when walking) and to the leg (he walks close to the left side during walks).
He can't be walked without a leash yet, he is too curious and stubborn sometimes when called.
His favorite playmates are German shepherds.
The most ideal home for him would be with another medium/large dog in a house with a garden, with indoor and outdoor play. He currently lives in an apartment and so he would feel good there too. He is a very affectionate type but it took a long time to wean him from the anxiety of being alone.

He is an ideal owner who will happily go hiking, long walks, bike rides, or even as a running companion. If you are getting to know him, it is important to bring the other dog to the meeting to see if they would enjoy being together.

Flódni is a mixed breed male born on 14.10.2023, vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.
