With the help of The Ugatlak Foundation in Kisvárda, came a Puli-like mother and her 2 girls of about 4 weeks old, into our care.


The two little puppies, Ákombákom girls Firka and Irka, are great survivors. Soon after they were brought in, it became clear that the little ones were in big trouble. They were infected with babesia, and the dreaded complication of autoimmune haemolytic anaemia. They both developed life-threatening anaemia and needed immediate blood transfusions. We can now say we are over the hump and can be rehomed.


The puppies, born around October 2023, they don't look much like their mum but will be of medium sized.


They are in great need of fostering, love and care. We would really like them to grow up not in the shelter, but to find a family quickly and experience what a real, happy dog life is like in a loving family.

We have started their vaccination programme, we will continue it, they will be adopted chipped and with the obligation to be neuter, which must be done by the given time and we will check it very strictly! We adopt puppies in Budapest and within a 30 km radius.
