Another tortured soul at the end of a chain. A young, sweet, kind dog born in May 2020, who despite all this, has complete trust and love for humans...
It's horrifying to think how big the chain or rope cutting into living flesh can be at any given moment. Every movement, every position hurts.
Gabo has been freed from the chain that was strangling him, thanks to the Füzesabony Animal Welfare Foundation.

Our doctors have already treated his wounds and he is recovering under the care of the Noah Animal Shelter Foundation, with multiple daily treatments, medication and a veterinary check-up every 2 days. We are feeding him slowly because he is thin... and his heartworm test came back POSITIVE.

We can't tell you how sweet and kind he is despite all the horrors he has been through. Now that he's finally free he's like a naughty puppy.

We want him to finally be healthy and happy, healed and rehomed very quickly. We would like him to have a home other than a kennel in a shelter instead of a chain around his neck, flies biting his ears, starvation and heartworms threatening his life.

Gabo is available for adoption as a family member once he recovers.
