Odett came into our care with the help of the Füzesabony Animal Protection Foundation.
This 4-5 kg bitch appeared several weeks ago in a wheat field, where there were now workers. She ran away, but now she was exhausted and slept on the wheel of a tractor. She had bite wounds on her chest, was infected and smelled like rotten meat.
She was taken to hospital immediately. Her fur was soiled with faecal matter, several fistula holes, one with 1 toenail removed, several toenails bored into the skin and several ticks removed. Fortunately, thanks to hospital treatment, she is now waiting for his future family in our shelter.
Odett is a bichon havanese female born in May 2014, who was chipped but her owner was a breeder who is not an owner by any means. Despite all the horrors Odett has been through, she is bouncy, friendly and doesn't mind the company of other dogs. She is very keen to belong to someone and be loved in return, so she should only be adopted as a family member.
Odett, vaccinated, neutered and with a negative heartworm test, is looking for a forever family.
