This is the dog that was run over in Pécel. He was found frozen to death, in shock. The severely injured dog was given up by its owner and is now a protegé of the Noah Animal Shelter Foundation.
The dog had been in a pneumothorax for days and was therefore very much on the edge between life and death. But Hera did it!
In the accident, she was so badly injured that she was unable to use her left leg for days. Luckily, her front leg was "only" bruised, but the femoral head on her back leg was torn into her pelvis. She was in terrible pain and had to be operated on as soon as possible. Our miracle worker Dr Boda operated on her injured leg at BodaVet Veterinary Clinic, she is a big dog, so the expected recovery time is 6-8 months. Her condition has now allowed her to continue her recovery in our hospital ward. She will still need strict movement restrictions for several weeks. She is very friendly and also very sociable with dogs of all sizes.
She is still a young mixed breed girl born in July 2019.
After Hera's recovery, we promised her that she will have a better life and we are looking for an owner who will prove to her for the rest of her life that life is beautiful and she is a loving companion to have. Someone who will take care of her under any circumstances and not give up on her. We are only looking for a home where she can be a full member of the family. She can't be adopted just as a garden dog.
She is vaccinated, chipped and after neutering she is looking for a new family.
To inquire about her and to make an appointment, call 06 30 221 1299, Monday to Saturday between 10 am and 3 pm, or visit info@noeallatotthon.hu.
