The Helping Hands for Animals Foundation asked the Supporter for Animals Foundation for help with a dog who was in terrible pain with a chain around his neck, cut to the flesh. He was hospitalised immediately after a successful rescue and was subsequently taken into our care. We named him Kantár.
Fortunately, thanks to the quick rescue, he received medical attention in time and if all goes well, he will not have any permanent injuries after his neck wound heals. His condition allowed him to continue his convalescence in the NOÉ hospital ward. Unfortunately, he tested positive for heartworm and will need further tests to determine the treatment. Sadly, we are not surprised as he has been living on chains, without a chip or vaccinations.
He is a young, unsocialised Caucasian Sheperd dog. We are looking for a home where he can be the light of his owner eye, who can forget all the bad things he has experienced in his life and prove to him that life is beautiful and he is a lovable companion. He wants a home where he can live as a full member of the family, where he is provided with a daily occupation and a secure home for the rest of his life. We welcome applications from owners with dog experience and breed knowledge. Any lack of previous training will need to be made up for by the prospective owner and dog training is strongly recommended. Apart from that, he is a friendly, but bursting with activity.
Can be adopted vaccinated, chipped and neutered.
To inquire about him and to make an appointment to meet him in person, call 06 30 221 1299, Monday to Saturday between 10am and 3pm, or visit info@noeallatotthon.hu.
