If you have questions about Lizbeth, please send an e-mail to !
A Central Asian Shepherd female dog came to us from the liquidation of the Tiszarádi colony. We named her Lizbeth.
Lizbeth was rescued from a colony, where she was left to rot in the ground. We don't know what this Central Asian Shepherd dog must have gone through to become a terrified, "sorry I'm alive" dog in complete disguise of her breed, but it could be better.
If she had stayed, she probably wouldn't be alive today. If I had to sum up her former state in one word, it would be tragic!
After her release, she spent 1 month in the Eger animal hospital where, after lab and other tests, it was confirmed that she was heartworm. Her weight was 35kg! Her ears were cut to half the size! Treatment was started immediately, she arrived at our shelter with heartworm protocoll already started. In the meantime, she has changed nicely, is no longer afraid of people and no longer runs away from outside sounds. Her weight has also increased nicely.
She enjoys her daily walks and cuddles. She is initially distrustful of strangers, but quickly makes friends with anyone who gives her a pat or a treat. Unfortunately, she doesn't get on with dogs, fearing that she could only be socialised with a breed mate of the opposite sex. She doesn't like cats much either. Because of her will to please, she is easily controlled. She demands to be with her human. She is kennel trained, loves walks and playing ( although she does not know what to do with a ball). Travelling in the car is still stressful.
We will not give her to be a guard dog, or kept in a garden on a chain.
She can be adopted vaccinated, chipped, neutered.
To inquire about her and to make an appointment, call 06 30 221 12 99, Monday to Saturday between 10 am and 3 pm, or visit info@noeallatotthon.hu.
