Due to a move, our shelter in Szergény has been asked to help with the rehoming of two elderly dogs.
Gérard is a 9 year old, neutered male Bordeaux dog, who was a little bit shocked at first to see people he didn't know. He quickly relaxed and we captured his heart in an instant with a reward. Very friendly and patient, a wonderful companion for humans.
His head is a little crooked, we suspect he may have had a mild stroke at some point, but this does not limit him in any way. He and his partner Brigitte are very well matched, they love each other.
We really hope that despite their old age we can still give them happy and healthy years!
We are looking for a responsible owner who will give him a permanent home, give him time to settle in and give him a safe home and love for the rest of his life.
