Chet and her buddy Taps were rescued from a place where they had been living their puppy lives in very poor conditions. Fortunately, help arrived in time, they are now safe and after their quarantine period, we can start to move on to a happier life with a permanent owner...

Chet is a mixed breed female dog born around October 2020. Unfortunately, despite her young age, she tested positive for heartworm on entry. Soon a heart ultrasound will show the extent of the infection and the course of treatment. She has brought a lot of fear from her previous life, she pees at every touch and just cowers on the floor frozen. She needs a little time, but then she cuddles up and welcomes the loving hugs and caresses she has never known.


We are looking for a loving, responsible owner for Chet who is aware of the difficulties and losses involved in raising a young dog. Who will love her and provide a safe home for her when she grows up and when she is old. We will only adopt her to a family where she will be considered a full member.
