Kiku is about a 6 month old akita mix female dog who was kept in horrible condition. She was freed with a couple of her buddies from a village called Nyársapáti with the help of the Szurkolók az állatkínzás ellen group. She came into our care and she needed medical attention right away.

We didn't know how big of a health issue she has. We just saw that she is a young dog who was kept on a half a meter long chain and in front of her a dead calf for lunch. Her tail had a wound on it of course it wasn't treated and the tail started to die away. What was surprising that even under these conditions she was wagging her tail, smiling and was full of love. 💔 Then after she was examined it all came crashing down on us... 😢 Kiku's outer part of her genital is missing and she is peeing through a very small hole. We don't know how this came about. One of the possibilities that due to the flee contamination she itched so badly that she grated it on the ground. All of he back part is inflammed and infected. Her treatment started right away. The police proceedings have started for animal cruelty. We have sent pictures to the police station.

After she heals we will look for a family for her where she will be loved for as long as she lives and where she will be treated as a full member.
