This poor dog was spotted in Mezőtárkány. Her chain was grown into her waist and stomach. This kind of thing doesn't happen overnight. It takes weeks, months or even years. We don't know how she was able to free herself but thanks to the volunteer workers of the Foundation of the Animal Protection in Füzesabony who immediately went and picked her up and they brought her to us. She was taken to our vet and she had an ememrgency operation. She was freed from the chain. The wound was deep and we hope that she will not have any complication with the scar. If this was not enough her heart worm test came back positive so as soon she is better she will have to have treatment for that.

We will look for a family for her where she will be loved for as long as she live and where she will be treated as a full member.

She is chipped, vaccinated and neutered.
