Pilács 💔 came into our care from the city pound of Kunhegyes. He was bloody, broken and blind. His blindnes was not new. He wondered away from where he was kept and probably he was hit by a car. His pelvic bone broke in 4 places and broke away from the spine. We still say that he was lucky because his organs were not injured. He is in a lot of pain so he is getting a lot of painkillers. Thankfully he can pee and poop which is a good sign.

He was thoroughly examined and he has Dirofilaria immitis as well. 🙁 First he has to get treatment for his hip and he will more thoroughly examined to see what stage is he in with the heartworms. Even though his eye problems are not new we will be take him to a specialist this week just in case. Even though he is in a lot of pain he is a sweet, friendly and cooperative middle aged male dog. We really want for him to get well so he can experience what it is like to have a very own loving family.

After she heals she will be vaccinated, neutered and only then she will be up for adoption.
