Kelengye is extremely malnourished hardly 14kg. She is about a year old German Shepherd mix female dog. She was found tied to a tree in the outskirts of Dormánd. The chain and wire was grown into her neck.

We just can't get used to this kind cruelty. The owner doesn't take his dog to a vet for treatment. Also stops feeding him then but that is also not enough and he/she takes him to the woods and ties the poor animal to a tree and with that takes the only chance of survival away as well. He was lucky but a in a lot of cases other dogs are not.

She was immediately taken to the Délpesti Állatgyógyászati Központ és Sebészeti Centrum Clinic where she was freed from the chains and wires. Her wounded neck was treated. She was also full of fleas and ticks. She also received treatment agains Babesia.

After she heals she will be vaccinated, neutered and only then she will be up for adoption. We will look for a family for her where she will be loved for as long as she lives and where she will be treated as a full member.
