Her name is Lidérc and she was kept on short chain. She also had a femoral hernia on both sides and not to mention she has heart worms as well.
She came from the Animal Protection Foundation in Füzesabony. She had an owner who kept her on such a short chain that she could hardly move. The family was warned by the mayor's office to change the situation but they didn't do it because they planning to euthanize the "old" dog (only 5 years old).
Lidérc needed surgery immediately because of her hernia her organs and part of her digestive system was hanging in the sack unprotected. She was operated in the Délpesti Állatgyógyászati Központ és Sebészeti Centrum Clinic by Dr. Beáta Orbán.🙏❤️ This was a risky operation and our worries are not over. During a surgery a big skin worm was found and the quick test came back positive for heart worms. She is staying in the vet's clinic for observation. As soon as she is better we will take her for more tests to see in which stage is her heart worm disease.
She is very friendly and she and playful. We are looking for a family for her where she will be loved for as long as she lives and where she will be treated as a full member.
