Hero was ran over on the M3 highway. The Police has asked for the help of the Animal Protection Foundation in Füzesabony and they called us. The highway patrol caught him and the road maintenance has transported him to safety. We took him immediately to the Délpesti Állatgyógyászati Központ és Sebészeti Centrumba Clinic.

The xray didn't show any broken bones but he has quite a few serious cuts and wounds. Due to the shock and the impact of the incident his liver and pancreas numbers are off the charts. The team needed days to stabilize his condition and now that he is stable he is calmer too. He is more cooperative and is not afraid of every touch. He already started to stand up and walk.🙏❤️

Unfortunately Hero has new very serious problem. He can't use his front right let. It is practically numb from the wrist down. The neurological test shows that he has no pain sensation in it. He has a cut wound above his wrist and probably the nerves were cut. He is getting treatment and we are still hoping for a miracle. If not then his leg has to be amputated. He is staying at Clinic for now and he receiving therapy every day.

After he heals he will be chipped, vaccinated, castrated and only the he will be up for adoption.
