The Szurkolók az állatkínzás ellen group has asked for our help. A Bernese mountain dog was left behind on a property and she was tied to a post. They went and picked her up and brought her to us.

She is sweet but very shy. She gets scared from every sudden movement and she cowers to the ground. With treats and petting she comes out of her shyness. Her fur is in bad condition and she is very thin.

We tested her for dirofilaria immitis (heart worms) and the quick test came back positive. Further test will be done to show the extent of the disease.

She is chipped, vaccinated and neutered.
