Retesz was found in a village called Marcalgergely. He was pulling a long chain that grew into his neck. It was a deep wound and the flies laid their eggs in the wound. The Humane Animal Protection Association in Pápa found him and took him to the vet for treatment. He did have a chip in him and it turned out that he is one of our own dogs that we rehomed. The previous owner gave him away. The good news is that these horrible events didn't take away his trust in people. He is still sweet, lovely and cooperative.

We are looking for a family for him where he will be loved for as long as he lives and where he will be treated as a full member. He can't be adopted as just a garden dog.

He is chipped, vaccinated and castrated.
